Faye Louise Lee was born on October 7, 1940 to the late James and Vivian Lee in Olla,
Louisiana. She is the oldest of six children, she was preceded in death by her younger brothers Bobby Tripplet and Palmer Johnson. Younger siblings still living Ann Wilson, Edna Butler and Stevie Johnson.
As a young girl, Faye joined Starlight Baptist Church and continued going to Sunday services regularly. Faye attended Goodpine High School in Jena,
Louisiana where she met her one and only love Felton Walker in their
Sophomore Year. Two months after graduating high school in 1958, they
married each other on August 31, 1958. They moved to New York in 1961 and had four children Sheila, Frederick, Sandra and Felton Jr. In 1965 they
relocated to Allendale, New Jersey where Faye attended Bergen Community College in Paramus, New Jersey to receive her nursing degree.
After receiving her nursing degree she was employed at Englewood Hospital for 30 years as a Nurse on Mother Baby. Where she loved assisting in the
delivery of newborns into the world and nursing the premature babies as her own. During her spare time she loved to live an adventurous life. She looked forward to the countless family vacations to gather with loved ones, watching Dwayne Johnson aka “The Rock” every wrestling match, and her obsession with her favorite soap operas Young and the Restless and All My Children.
She is lovingly survived by her husband of 61 years Felton, 2 daughters; Sheila, and Sandra; 2 sons Frederick (Willene); and Felton Jr (Monica);
11 grandchildren; Taconya and Andre, Lionel, Shaterica, Fred Jr and Preston, Bianca, Karlinsky, Kendrick, Kristopher and Kierra. She also leaves 16 great grandchildren; Peyton, Aniya, Ava, Candice, Elijah, Mikaelah, Lionel Jr,
Decameron, Malashia, Zakiyah, Chloe, Carter, Kristion, Kayla,
Kameron and Kendia.
